This microphone allows for highly intelligible communication in headset-microphone communications that require noise-canceling communication at both ground level and various altitudes.

The New dynamic M-87 style 150 ohm Microphone Assembly has been approved for the qualified product list. The version of the microphone is a variation of the standard M-87 5 ohm type.
